Your post must fall into one of these categories:

  1. CATALYST - A person or thing that inspires a change in society or leads to something out of the ordinary.

  2. PERSONAL GROWTH - self-help: the action or process of bettering oneself or overcoming one's problems without the aid of others

  6. TECH

  9. CRITIQUE - Books, TV, Movies, Art. Anything that made you think.

Your post cannot be an advertisement for your product or the equivalent of a sponsored post. It must be a post that is intended to add value to readers. The post must indicate that you personally have written this post and you know what you are talking about.

  1. Your post must be original and not previously published either on the Web or in print.

  2. Your personal experience on the topic is what makes your website post interesting to a reader. Therefore, it must not be in textbook style. It must indicate your personal involvement with the subject.

  3. You Must Be Active On Social media: All writers must be active on at least two social media sites. On receipt of this email, please send us the URL for your social media profiles for us to check you out.

  4. You are free to share a snippet of the post on your Social Media with a link to the original post and tag Lifedotme's respective social media accounts.

  5. Your Post Must Have An Image: Don’t forget to include atleast one copyright free image matching your guest posts and make sure images size are less than 60 KB. The dimension of your image must be at least 700px wide. If you are sharing someone else's picture, please add a credit note for them.

  6. If you're sharing someone else's life experience, make sure you have the proper permissions to share their story/image (preferably a written consent). A screenshot of the written consent will also work.

  7. Your Post Must Have At Least 500 words: Your post should be at least 500 words long and a maximum of 650 words.

  8. This is a paid-writing opportunity for freelance writers and not a full-time job offer (payment per-word as per industry standards).

  9. Grammar errors will be deducted from the final amount as penalty at the rate of ₹0.20 per word.

  10. The website owner (Lifedotme Digital Media) reserves all rights to accept/reject an article/post without an explanation/reason.

  11. The writer will be responsible for all the research to be done on the subject of the article. The writer is expected to present a balanced viewpoint of the subject they're writing about.

  12. Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Such posts are subject to be rejected right away.

  13. If your post has less than 8% matching content with another source on the web/print, the source needs to be clearly mentioned in the submission.

We will likely copy-edit your post for grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. If we make substantive changes (unlikely), we will email the post back to you for your approval before posting.

If your post meets the above guidelines, please go ahead and send us an email and attach your website post in a Word document, Google Document or a text file so we can review your post and provide you feedback. If you are using Google Docs, make sure to select the highlighted option;

The next step is to get your post published. Once the post is ready from our end, we will work with you to finalize a publishing date to get your post published and then schedule it as agreed.
